General Terms of Use
Version 2026-10 — published: 1 October 2026
The general rules for using TicketsNile for all visitors, buyers and organizers, and the platform's role as a technical tool, not a ticket seller.
About these terms and who we are
These terms govern the use of the TicketsNile website at www.ticketsnile.com and its services by every visitor, ticket buyer and event organizer.
The platform is owned and operated by OMA IT Solutions ("OMA", "we"). Our full details are on the Provider information page.
By using the website or buying a ticket through it, you accept these terms. Organizers are also bound by the Organizer terms and the signed organizer agreement.
The Arabic text is the original and prevails over this English translation.
What TicketsNile is, and what it is not
TicketsNile is a technical tool that organizers use to publish their events, sell tickets or issue invitations, and manage entry. The platform runs on the open-source pretix system.
- OMA is not the organizer, owner or seller of any event or ticket, and is not an agent of the organizer or the buyer.
- OMA does not collect or hold ticket money. The buyer pays the organizer directly, through the payment method the organizer chooses and contracts for itself.
- OMA does not review event content or accuracy before publication. Publishing an event on the platform does not mean we endorse or guarantee it.
- Tickets and records issued by the platform are an organisational tool between the organizer and its audience. They are not an official document before government bodies.
Accounts
- You may buy a ticket without an account, or create one where the organizer offers it.
- Give accurate information, keep your password secret, and tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
- You are responsible for what happens through your account, unless it is shown to result from a security fault in the platform attributable to us.
- If you are under 18, the purchase or registration must be made by your parent or guardian, or with their consent.
- Organizer accounts are subject to the verification steps set out in the Organizer terms.
Buying tickets
- The ticket purchase contract is between you and the organizer only. The organizer is the seller and the "supplier" under Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, and is answerable to you for the event, its price and its conditions.
- Before buying, check on the event page: who the organizer is, the price including taxes, the sale conditions, the refund policy, and entry conditions such as age and required documents.
- Your confirmation and ticket are emailed to you from the organizer's address. Keep your ticket and do not share its code; a ticket that has already been scanned may be refused.
- Payment is made to the payment provider the organizer has chosen, and that provider's terms apply to the payment.
- Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Cancellation and refund policy.
Acceptable conduct
When using the platform you must not:
- break the law, or publish content prohibited by the Prohibited content and events policy;
- impersonate anyone, or provide misleading information;
- attempt to breach the platform or test its security without our written permission, or disrupt or overload it with automated traffic;
- scrape data, copy the platform, or resell its services;
- forge or copy tickets, or use stolen or fraudulently obtained tickets or payment means;
- send unsolicited messages through the platform.
Intellectual property and certificates
- The platform, its design, our own software, the TicketsNile mark and OMA's marks belong to OMA. The pretix system and its open-source components are subject to their own licences.
- Each event's content, including images, text, logos and artist names, belongs to the organizer or is licensed to it, and the organizer is responsible for it.
- Certificates issued through the platform are content prepared by the organizer and are entirely its responsibility. TicketsNile does not guarantee or endorse the academic content of any course or conference, nor the validity or accreditation of the certificate-issuing party.
- If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, please use the Report page.
Limits of our liability
- We provide the platform with reasonable professional care, and do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or faults.
- The organizer alone is responsible for the event itself: holding it, its date, venue, content, safety, permits and taxes, and for cancelling or changing it and refunding its tickets. As a technical provider, OMA is not the party answerable for these matters.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for internet or device failures at the venue, for failures of payment, email or telecom providers, or for indirect loss.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or gross fault, or any consumer right that the law does not allow to be waived.
- Our liability towards organizers is set out in the organizer agreement.
Suspension and removal
- We may suspend an account or event, or remove content, for breach of these terms or the law, serious suspicion of fraud, a serious complaint, or a request from a competent authority.
- We tell the person concerned the reason where possible. The suspension procedure and cure period for organizers are in the Organizer terms.
- Suspending an event's sales does not cancel tickets issued before the suspension, unless an authority requires otherwise or the event itself is fraudulent.
Changes to these terms
- We may change these terms. Each new version is published here with its number and date.
- Material changes are announced at least 30 days before they take effect, and sent to organizers by email and in their dashboard.
- No change applies retroactively: each purchase is governed by the terms in force when it was made.
- Current version: 2026-10, published on 1 October 2026.
Governing law and courts
- These terms are governed by Egyptian law.
- Disputes with organizers are heard by the courts of Alexandria, each according to its subject-matter jurisdiction, as set out in the organizer agreement.
- A buyer or user acting as a consumer keeps every right the law gives them, including the right to go to the Consumer Protection Agency or to the court that has jurisdiction by law.
- We prefer to settle matters amicably, so please contact us first.
Contact
Questions about these terms: info@oma.com.eg or —, or the Contact page. For questions about a specific event, please contact its organizer first, using the details on the event page or in your confirmation email.
