Reporting Illegal Content or Rights Infringement
Version 2026-10 — published: 1 October 2026
How to report an event or content that is unlawful or infringes your rights, and what we do and when.
What you can report
- A fake event or fraud.
- Content that breaches the Prohibited content and events policy.
- Infringement of your rights: your images, music, mark or name.
- Impersonation of you or your organisation.
- A privacy violation or published personal data.
- An organizer who has not answered a refund request or complaint after five working days.
- A security vulnerability in the platform.
How to report
Send your report to info@oma.com.eg with the word "Report" in the subject, or use the Contact page. If anyone is in danger, contact the police or the competent authorities first.
What to include
- The link to the event or page, and exactly what is wrong with it.
- Your name and a way to contact you.
- Your capacity: rights holder, authorised representative, buyer, or other.
- Proof of your rights, for intellectual property and impersonation reports.
- Your order number, for refund complaints.
- A statement that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
For security vulnerabilities: describe how to reproduce it, do not access or change more data than needed to show it, and do not publish it before it is fixed.
What we do and when
- We acknowledge your report within two working days.
- In cases of danger, obvious fraud or an authority's request, we act immediately and may stop sales or the event before hearing the organizer.
- Otherwise we pass the report to the organizer and ask for its reply within three working days.
- We decide on the right action: keep, correct or remove the content, or stop sales or suspend the account, and we tell you the outcome.
OMA does not judge disputes between parties. Where a rights dispute is unclear, we may ask both sides for evidence, or wait for a decision by the competent authority.
Organizer's reply and data protection
- The organizer may reply and provide evidence of its rights, and we will revisit our decision if it proves wrong.
- We may share the content of your report with the organizer, but we reveal your identity only if needed to handle it or if a competent authority requires it.
- We do not disclose buyers' data to the person reporting.
- Knowingly false or malicious reports may expose the sender to legal liability, and we may disregard repeated ones.
