Scope

This policy sets out what organizers pay OMA for using the platform. It does not concern ticket prices, which the organizer sets and collects itself. It is read together with the organizer agreement, which prevails in case of any difference.

Moving to the new fees

  • The fees in this policy apply to all organizers, new and existing, from 1 October 2026, the date it is published.
  • An organizer with a written agreement with OMA made before that date is governed by that agreement where it provides otherwise.
  • Nothing is retroactive. No ticket issued before 1 October 2026 is counted, and it remains valid for entry. Tickets issued from that date onwards are counted under this policy, even for events created earlier.
  • On the effective date every organizer without a written agreement starts on the monthly free plan, until it buys a pack or subscribes.
  • An organizer who does not accept the fees may stop using the platform at any time and is charged only for what it used.

The unit: one allowed entry

Fees are counted in entry units, meaning each entry a ticket allows. Units are deducted from the balance when the ticket is issued:

  • An invitation for 10 people = 10 units.
  • A code that may be scanned twice = 2 units.
  • A 12-visit pass = 12 units.
  • For a ticket with unlimited re-entry, each entry after the first counts as one extra unit.
  • Free tickets (price 0) count like any other ticket.
  • When a ticket is cancelled, only its unused entries return to the balance.
  • Add-on products that do not allow entry are not counted.

The free plan

  • 50 entry units every month, free of charge with no end date, with the same features as prepaid packs and the TicketsNile logo on tickets.
  • Individuals without a commercial registration may use the free plan for free private events only. Paid selling is limited to registered entities.
  • The free plan is a grant from OMA, which may change or end it with at least 30 days' notice.

Prepaid packs

  • 100 units: EGP 250.
  • 500 units: EGP 1,100.
  • 1,000 units: EGP 2,000.
  • 5,000 units: EGP 8,500.

A pack is valid for one year from purchase. Extra packs can be bought at any time.

Monthly subscriptions

  • "Intilaq" (Starter): 500 units per month for EGP 1,000.
  • "Ihtiraf" (Pro): 2,000 units per month for EGP 2,000.
  • "Muassasat" (Enterprise): 5,000 units or more per month, from EGP 4,000, or by separate agreement.
  • Annual billing: pay for 10 months and get 12.
  • Unused monthly units carry over to the next month only.

The extra features of each subscription are shown on the Pricing page.

Invitations

  • Invitations are free up to a monthly cap that depends on the plan: 50 on the free plan and prepaid packs, 300 on "Intilaq", and unlimited on "Ihtiraf" and above.
  • Invitations beyond the monthly cap are deducted from the balance like any ticket.
  • Paid tickets must not be issued as invitations to avoid deduction.

When the balance runs out

  • We alert you when 80% of your balance is used, and again at 95%.
  • You can top up at any time from your dashboard, at your plan's rate.
  • When the balance reaches zero, new sales and ticket issuing stop immediately on every plan, even during a running event.
  • Tickets issued before that remain valid for entry, and the gate never stops.
  • Please top up early before large events, because units are added after the transfer is reviewed. OMA is not liable for losses caused by sales stopping at zero balance.

Prices, tax and currency

  • Prices are in Egyptian pounds and include 14% value added tax.
  • Organizers based outside Egypt pay in US dollars at the EGP price divided by 50, without Egyptian VAT where the applicable tax rules allow it.
  • OMA may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A change never applies to amounts already paid. An organizer may end its subscription before a change takes effect and receive the value of its unused paid balance.

How to pay OMA

  1. Pay by bank transfer to OMA's account shown in your dashboard. This is currently the only accepted payment method.
  2. Upload the transfer receipt from your dashboard.
  3. Units are added after OMA's team reviews the transfer. A receipt received before 3 pm on a working day is reviewed the same day; later receipts are reviewed the next working day. Working days are Saturday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm Cairo time.
  4. The e-invoice is issued after payment.

Never pay any other account or person claiming to represent OMA. Check any doubtful request with info@oma.com.eg.

Refunds and balance

  • Packs are not refunded in cash. Unused units at the end of a pack's validity get six more months of validity, once.
  • As an exception, and by written decision, OMA alone may refund the amount it actually received for a pack by electronic credit note.
  • If OMA ends the agreement without breach by the organizer, or because of its own breach, the value of the unused paid balance is refunded by credit note.
  • The balance cannot be cashed, cannot be transferred to another organizer, and is not refunded when an event is cancelled or removed for a reason attributable to the organizer or its breach.

Special plans

OMA may grant some partners a plan that is free for the whole term of the service, or agree special terms with an organizer. This happens only by a written OMA decision or agreement, and benefits only the organizer it names.

Fair use

Fair use means using the platform for its legitimate purpose: managing tickets for real events. Abuse includes:

  • opening several accounts for the same entity to multiply the free plan or invitation caps;
  • getting around unit counting, for example by issuing paid tickets as invitations;
  • abnormal automated traffic that overloads the platform;
  • any use contrary to the Prohibited content and events policy.

In such cases OMA may correct the balance, or suspend the account under the Organizer terms.

Records and disputes

The platform's records of ticket issuing, balance and movements are binding on both parties unless proven otherwise. You may dispute any movement in writing within 30 days. After that period, clerical errors can still be corrected.
